Greg Carter Greenbrier Hometown Hero Scholarship

The Greg Carter Hometown Hero was endowed by Roger and Phyllis Boone as a permanent memorial to Fairlea Volunteer Fireman, Greg Scott Carter.

Criteria for Selection

  • Applicant must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 semester hours.
  • The student must maintain a 2.5 grade point average.
  • Applicant must be a volunteer firefighter, law enforcement officer, or a volunteer or employee of another Hometown Hero organization; second preference will be given to spouses and dependents of a Hometown Hero organization.
  • Applicant must demonstrate financial need and household income 125% below the federal poverty guideline.

Judy D. Campbell Scholarship

The Judy D. Campbell Scholarship was endowed by Michael G. Campbell and was established to assist students who are residents of Greenbrier, Monroe, or Pocahontas counties.
