New River CTC Foundation scholarship application available Feb. 19

 [BEAVER, W.Va.] The New River Community and Technical College Foundation will begin accepting scholarship applications on Monday, February 19 for the 2018 fall and 2019 spring semesters.

Any student that plans to enroll at New River CTC for the 2018-2019 academic year is encouraged to apply. New students, current students as well as graduating high school seniors are eligible to apply for the scholarship funds ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.

“The New River CTC Foundation will provide nearly $100,000 in student scholarships next year as a direct result of our generous donors,” said Interim Executive Director of the Foundation Michael Green.

“We recently updated the online application to encourage more students to apply. The new application process is simple, streamlined and very user friendly,” added Green.

The Foundation Board of Directors will award more than 40 scholarships to deserving students attending New River CTC.
